Our once-a-year stout party. New batch, a bourbon barrel-aged version and one-offs.
Tsar Bomba, our Russian imperial stout, comes out once a year. On Saturday, Oct 24 we tap the new batch and throw it a party, noon to 10pm.
It is a big, dark stout that tastes of roasted grain, blackstrap molasses and brown sugar. One to sip slowly on a cold night. 11%.
This year we are also tapping a barrel-aged Tsar Bomba. It has been aging in bourbon barrels from Ironton Distillery in Louisville.
We will pour other Tsar Bomba variations too. Every variation, the barrel-aged one included, is a one-time batch you can only get here in the taproom.
